The Outer Banks | Photo Diary
Written By Alexander Rouse
I think it was precisely the time for me to take this trip. Following the end of a great volume of work and preceding the start of much more, a week spent on the narrow strip of land between water and water was perfect for decompression. My family lived in this area for over one hundred years before my parents relocated, so it always feels like a home-going of sorts. Blessed be the pleasure and contemplation of time spent bathed in salt and tethered by the heavy air.
